About Norstar* Voicemail Systems :
Voicemail systems are generally composed of 2 sections.
1) The Personal mailboxes that are associated with each telephone so that everyone can have their own mailbox.
2) The Automated Attendant. The system can answer your calls with your recorded message, welcoming them to the company and offering an alternate language, along with automatically transferring calls to the extension the caller asked for or playing a series of informational messages. (For example, PLEASE PRESS 1 TO HEAR ABOUT OUR LATEST PRODUCT) etc etc ..
All these systems can do this, it's just a matter of how many mailboxes the voicemail system can support, and how many different companies are on the same system that need a personalized auto-attendant menu.
